Magnified Spider

February 12, 2022 – A 24″ x 18″ graphite drawing of a magnified spider. Created with the intention to take a “wow” image and translate it through art. Capturing the elements that make the image unique and still portray what pulled me in.

Details such as the direction of the hair as it grows on the spider and the reflection of the eyes pulled me in. It amazes me how something so small can still be complex.
