Sunday Breakfast

July 9, 2022 – A 12″ x 12″ acrylic painting of a typical Sunday breakfast consisting of sunny-side-up eggs, toast, and bacon. The objective was to focus on realism yet maintain the style of impasto.

From the brush strokes to the implied plate, the use of purposely placed shadows and highlights helps create a realistic composition without being detail-oriented.
